Vintage Framed Harry's Bar (Venice, Italy) Poster by Charles Avalon (circa 1950's).

Harry's Bar opened in 1931 by bartender Giuseppe Cipriani. This bar has gone from humble beginnings, to having an impressive list of famous clientele such as - Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Humphry Bogart, Tuman Capote, and many more.

The bar overlooks the Grand Canal, across which the spectacular Ponte di Rialto strides.

Harry's Bar is perhaps best known for having invented the universally popular Bellini, shown in the poster being enjoyed by a stylized gondolier. It was declared a national heritage site in 2001 by the Italian Ministry of Culture Affairs.

The Cipriani family’s hospitality philosophy includes serving customers with LOVE and DEDICATION.
